Learn how to use the torch to fuse glass to metal! Working on a copper penny, you will learn the basics of how the enamel medium works and how to fuse glass using a torch. You will learn about metal preparation and enamel application. You will make either a pair of earrings or a necklace for the fee of the class.
Cancellation policy: Students who cancel at least seven days prior to the class will receive a full refund. All cancellations after that will receive a 50% refund. If you are interested in taking a class, register early so we know you're interested!
Dress Requirements: You must dress safely and appropriately. Arrive for class in all-natural fiber clothing, long pants, and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes with socks that protect up to the ankle. Long hair must be tied back. You must wear a face mask. Nylon, polyester, spandex, or other synthetics are not recommended around equipment or processes that produce hot fragments, sparks, or flames. Layers are encouraged as the studio can be very cold or very hot. Additional protective gear will be provided as needed.
